Ron Hatfield served in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation electronics technician at various military bases all over the world, including more than six months in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Ron received his undergraduate degree from Marshall University and he is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law. As a practicing attorney, Ron has represented business and individual clients through all phases of courtroom activity, concentrating on trial and appellate issue in the areas of Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Property Damage, Construction Law, Product Liability, Toxic Tort, Environmental Law, Premises Liability, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith, Contracts, and Commercial Transactions.
Ron has been admitted to practice in West Virginia (2000) and Kentucky (2009), as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of West Virginia and Eastern District of Kentucky. He is an active member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia.
